She has taken many continuing education courses such as Pregnancy Massage, Reiki, Hot and Cold Stone massage, Myofascial, Chiropractic and Medical Massage. Gwen’s provides restorative massage therapy specializing Nueromuscular Therapy/Deep Tissue massage. Gwen also has a signature massage massage called "integrative massage" using Swedish, Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu and Polarity techniques. Her 710 hour training at Health Choices Holistic Massage School was based on a holistic approach where the massage you receive becomes a whole body transformational experience. Gwen’s specialty is focusing on her clients' needs and creating customized massages to decrease pain and provide a relaxation experience.
Gwen became a massage therapist because it was always a passion of hers. Prior to her training she massaged friends and family when in need. She taught herself some hands-on massage techniques through classes and books.
While in massage training she found an interest in essential oils and began using them in her practice and everyday life.
Gwen is married, has one child, two cats, enjoys cooking, swimming, exercising and the arts in her spare time. She loves boat rides and the beach in the summertime.
